Winners SAP Innomarathon Latinamerica
Bikelite, a project that addresses urban mobility oriented to the safety of cyclists, encouraging better conditions and providing a more reliable experience to prevent accidents and increase the use of this means of transport, was the winner of SAP Innomarathon, a regional competition that invited emerging companies and startups from Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Chile to develop and present solutions that seek to solve social problems or situations that affect people's lives.
"We were interested in the social and technological component of the tournament. There are few who mix these two aspects. Generally, social innovation is not linked to technology and many great technological innovations do not involve a social component. Another motivation was that SAP is a tremendous company worldwide, "said Paulina BarrÃa, executive director and founder of Bikelite.
The winners obtained 5,000 euros that contribute to the development of their business and 12 months of tutoring by SAP Labs LatinAmerica.
